The Mount Barker Football Club is seeking an experienced, passionate, and inspiring Senior Women’s Coach to lead our talented women’s program into the 2026 season and beyond. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a progressive and family-oriented community club committed to developing women’s football at all levels.

Key attributes and expertise

We are seeking a coach who:

• ·         Communicates clearly and consistently, conveying a strong message of accountability and opportunity
• ·         Has a solid foundation in fundamental skill development
• ·         Adapts to work effectively with players of varying skills and abilities
• ·         Is passionate about both team success and individual player growth
• ·         Collaborate with, and supports other coaches and club initiatives
• ·         Who champions positive behaviours that align with the club’s core values and organisational culture.
• ·         Holds level 2 AFL Coaching Accreditation (preferred) or minimum Level 1
• ·         Brings senior coaching experience (preferred, not essential)

Key responsibilities:

• ·         Committed to lead, build and develop our women’s football program
• ·         Facilitating the effective transition of junior players to senior football
• ·         Oversee player development and team strategy
• ·         Collaborate closely with the Football Director to align with the club’s values and policies.
• ·         Foster leadership, inclusivity, and positive team environment within the women’s program and wider club
• ·         Set and uphold high standards both on and off the field
• ·         Plan and implement a long-term women’s football program that meets current and future goals

Remuneration available for the right candidate, based on experience and qualifications.
